Many have asked the question...what in the world does "La Ingrata" mean? Does it really mean "The Ungrateful?" Technically speaking, YES, but it has nothing to do with us, you, or someone being ungrateful. Our owner is originally from Mexico. Specifically, the city of San Miguel De Allende. San Miguel De Allende is known for their festivals, Spanish influenced architecture, and the nightlife. Our owner, Juan's favorite bar in San Miguel De Allende is called...you guessed it, La Ingrata! Because of his love for his city and his favorite bar, he wanted to be homage in Texas by naming his restaurant La Ingrata.
